Each spot scores points for every guide or award that names it, weighted by how selective the source is and where it ranked. Time Out's top 20, The Infatuation, Hot Dinners, The Nudge and the World's 101 Best Burgers carry the most weight; the National and British Burger Awards add a bonus; single mentions from other guides add one point each. Sister branches of a ranked spot get a quarter of its score, so you can find the nearest one without them crowding the top.
